Do you end up away with a thought of dam I didn't bring pants to go with that top? Bugger I did't bring a coat and now I'm freezing! Well below I have 5 Steps for making packing and traveling easier.
1. FIND OUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING
It is important to find out the activities you will be doing and the place you will be staying at for the weekend. Then you can plan your outfits for each thing. Whether your going to be snuggled up inside by the fire, soaking up in a warm spa or doing some yummy exercise.
2. PRE PLAN ALL YOUR OUTFITS
If you would like to look good and happy in what you are wearing then, this is a must! PRE PLAN ALL your outfits so you can wake up and get ready quickly without a hassle... plus your in another place there is no time to waste! You need to use up all the time to explore the amazing place your in.
3. PACK DOUBLE THE OUTFITS (for 2 days pack 4 outfits or 5 if you know your doing something special)
It isn't over packing but it is being prepared because if you end up not feeling like one of your outfits you can always rely on 1 or 2 others for 2 days you know? I highly recommend this because your bound to go for that second choice.
4. CHECK THE FORECAST
Look at the forecast to see the temperatures and weather because you do not want to be cold or if your going for a walk and you did not think to take a rain jacket and it showers on and off. I will always check this even the day leaving, you never know it could suddenly change.
5. TAKE SNACKS
You can never go wrong here, I am such a loopy when it comes to taking food when traveling. The only reason I say this is because I seem to never find the snacks I like any where I go and 2 it makes me stay healthy and keeps me on track.
On a plane they give out a snack - chips or a cookie... no thanks! Got my fuelling protein bar or bag of chocolate and nuts. Even in hotel rooms or friends house they are bound to have things that aren't your pick of the pantry. It just makes it so much easier to stay healthy and also it only takes a couple of minutes to pack them in your bag. SIMPLE AS THAT! You have to be prepared to stay healthy.
