THE VILLA RENOVATION STAGE TWO
Moving right along now from my previous post, the framing and insulation of all the rooms has been done. Now you can get more of a visual for each room.
I have just titled above each series of images, the room name.
Room One (Master)
This room was always going to be the master, as it was possible to create a stunning private area with a good size wardrobe and ensuite with his and her sides from using part of the old living area/room four.
Wardrobe & Ensuite
We had to take out the window which was in the centre of this room, as it was not fire proof and it fell in the middle of the two bathrooms; we were unable to move it. We decided to go with skylights in both bathrooms and they are already working a treat with natural light beaming down. Natural light is essential in a bathroom because it is best for when you put make up on or pamper yourself before starting the day.
Both Room Two & Three will be pretty much the same layout with the built in wardrobes in the right hand corner (hallway side). Except Room Three will have the roof storage access.
This Linen cupboard/storage cupboard was a must as there was no where to store the towels, sheets etc. It felt right to have it opposite the laundry as you can fold away once washed.
Welcome to city living, a common feature in a villa these days is a cupboard laundry. This laundry is easily accessible for everyone to use on a regular bases.
